Yossi Ghinsberg, the Israeli adventurer well known for spending three weeks in an uncharted part of the Bolivian Amazon jungle when he was stranded there almost 30 years ago, was a key speaker this week at a career day event at the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem.

Ghinsberg spoke to 150 hotel management students from numerous universities and colleges all over Israel about motivation and dedication when faced with obstacles. His survival story was enacted in the 2017 psychological thriller Jungle starring Daniel Radcliffe.

This day was part of activities in Careers@Hilton Live: Youth in Hospitality Month, Hilton Worldwide’s largest ever global career event showcasing the many opportunities available in the hospitality industry.

Throughout the month of May, Hilton Worldwide hotels and corporate offices around the globe are hosting hundreds of events to inform those looking for employment, including young people, about the vast array of exciting opportunities available in the hospitality industry.
