CenterPlate at Sun Life Stadium approached Chabad Rabbis and Miami Heat Jewish Heritage Night coordinators, Rabbi Pinny Andrusier & Rabbi Chaim Lipskar, asking them to oversee a newly constructed permanent Kosher stand for all Miami Dolphins games and other non Shabbat events at the stadium. Kosher seeking fans will be able to enjoy a tasty array of kosher items for all upcoming Dolphins home games, as the new season does not have them scheduled on the Jewish Sabbath or any of the Jewish Holidays.

Giant silver letters spell out ‘Kosher’ atop the permanent concession booth located off ramp B in section 107. The stadium promises to make several digital announcements during football games, directing fans to the new kosher location. The Kosher stand will offer Glatt Kosher hot dogs, BBQ wings, deli sandwiches, knishes, chips, soda, water, beer and a Halftime Minyan for Mincha – obligatory afternoon service.

Customized uniforms are being printed in addition to afternoon prayer booklets, which will include the proper blessings for all the kosher staples on the menu.

Rabbi Pinny is no stranger to providing kosher at sporting events. In 1994 he was featured on the front page of the Miami Herald for being the first to introduce kosher food to South Florida Sports at the then called Joe Robbie Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins and Florida Marlins. In addition to the widely successful Jewish Heritage Night with the Championship Miami Heat, Rabbi Pinny and Rabbi Lipskar also team up to cater to thousands of Jewish guests at their annual Chanukah On Ice with the Florida Panthers and special Passover family events at local attractions and parks.
