The Council of Jewish Organizations of Staten Island is proud to host once again, together with Borough President James Oddo, Staten Island’s 48th annual menorah-lighting ceremony, on December 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Borough Hall (10 Richmond Terrace). This year the menorah is to be lit by Rabbi Nachman Segal of the Chabad Israel Center of Staten Island. The colors and anthems will be presented by Jewish War Veterans, Post 80 (Charles Greinsky, commander). Children from Staten Island’s various Hebrew Schools will be performing. The evening promises to be full of delight and holiday joy. For further information, please contact Scott Maurer, CEO of COJO-SI, at 646-209-3683 or smaurer@cojosi.org.
