The staff at the Five Towns Premier Nursing and Rehab has joined forces with women around the country to celebrate “Go Red Day,” promoting heart health and prevention of cardiovascular disease in women. National Wear Red Day is recognized on the first Friday of February to raise awareness about cardiac disease and to save lives. According to the American Heart Association, cardiac disease is the number-one killer in women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. Joe Benden, administrator of the Five Towns Premier, has embraced this day as an opportunity to educate his staff and empower all women on the importance of cardiac health. 
