A 71-year-old Toronto man has been arrested for alleged sex offences dating back to the early 70s.
Toronto police accuse Rabbi Heshi Nussbaum, then a teacher at a private Jewishschool in the Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue area, of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy from 1972-1975.
The victim was 12 at the time of the allegations.
It appears that Rabbi Nussbaum may have also been the choir master at the Toronto Boys Choir during the same time period, although police have yet to confirm that.
Police believe there could be more victims.
