Choir Performs at New York City Hall. By Dov Tuchman. Just before Shavuos, the Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) choir, also known as the YerushaLions, performed at the New York City Hall as part of the Jewish Heritage Month Celebration. They performed both the classic Yerushalayim Shel Zahav by Naomi Shemer and the ever-popular Hashem Melech by Gad Elbaz. The singing was received with applause and praise from the crowd, and the choir hopes to continue to inspire the Jewish community with their music.

MTA’s Wrubel BMK Talmidim Complete Ohel Xtreme Challenge. By Ari Englander. Before Shavuot, talmidim of the MTA Wrubel BMK, along with several talmidim from other shiurim, traveled to Camp Kaylie to run the OXC–Ohel Xtreme Challenge. Joined by Rabbi Tanchum Cohen and his children, the boys had a great time running, jumping, and climbing their way through the 5-mile course, enduring some light falls and scrapes along the way. After the race, everyone was hosed off, had the chance to shower, and was treated to a delicious barbecue lunch. And best of all, the group helped raise over $5,000 for Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services! v
