Challah Baking At Rebbetzin Jaeger’s Home

HANC 7th-Grade Trip

On Wednesday, October 17, the seventh-grade students took a trip to Dave & Buster’s in Westbury, NY. The students were joined by Mrs. Jennifer Morey, assistant principal, Mrs. Susan Seltzer, math teacher, Mrs. Nicole Seeno, social-studies teacher, and Dr. Steven Levey, director of counseling for both the middle school and high school.

Each student was given a Dave & Buster’s game card that enabled them to play any games of their choice.

The students had a great time playing games of skill, such as basketball, skee-ball, table hockey, and dancing games.

Some of the students also played games of “chance,” such as spinning different kinds of wheels to see how many tickets they won. By the look of the line in the gift shop, our kids did well!

Challah Baking At Rebbetzin Jaeger’s Home

HANC Middle School started off our week of Shabbat programming with an awesome seventh-grade girls’ trip to Rebbetzin Jaeger’s home. It was a beautiful experience to be able to leave school and go into a warm, loving home filled with Torah books and a delicious challah smell. The girls loved hearing what the Rebbetzin has to say about their Hebrew names, which made the girls all feel so individually special and unique. They learned how to make a crown challah representing keter Torah! This was definitely an experience they will never forget.
