‘When Did the U.S. start supporting terrorists?’

Brooklyn, NY, August 4, 2016 … Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) recently slammed the Obama administration after it flew $400 million to Iran on an unmarked cargo plane in exchange for four American hostages back in Janurary. The U.S. detainees include Saeed Abedini, Nosratollah Khosravi, Amir Hekmati and Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian.

“When did the U.S. start supporting terrorists?’ an outraged Assemblyman Hikind asked. ‘Shame on the Obama administration for sending money to a country that continues to house more terrorists than any other country in the world. [Iran] walks away $400 million richer, yet we’re apparently fighting terrorism? What a disgrace.”

The $400 million, settled at the same time as the Iran Deal was agreed upon, was paid in a variety of currency acquired from banks in the Netherlands and Switzerland, since making a transaction with Iran in American dollars is illegal under U.S. law.

Added Hikind, “These terrorists doesn’t even have to go to the bank because we just hand-delivered cash to them. To make matters worse, we have a president who insisted on keeping this information from the public. It makes you wonder ‘What else don’t we know?””
