A Brooklyn shopkeeper was found dead Thursday night in his Bensonhurst discount store by a customer, police and sources said.

Shopkeeper Isaac Kadare, 59, was bleeding from head trauma when EMS workers arrived at his Amazing 99 Cent Deals shop on 86 St. near 19th Ave. at 8:50 p.m., police said. He was declared dead at the scene.

Cops are considering Kadare’s death suspicious, sources said. It appeared that the store had not been robbed, police sources said.

Kadare is a father of four grown children, a relative said. He was a devout Sephardic Jew who studied the Talmud daily, said the victim’s brother-in-law, who would not give his name.

“We don’t know if this was an accident or a robbery,” the relative told the Daily News.

“He was a good man with a good heart. He worked very hard all his life.”

Neighbors said Kadare had come to the United States from Israel. He and his wife have two teenage daughters, a teen son and a 10-year-old daughter.

“His family is always there,” Roman said. “His kids are always there. His wife is always there. They weren’t there tonight.”

But after learning the news, family members quickly showed up.

“The wife looked lost. The little girl was just hysterical. She didn’t know what was happening,’’ another neighbor said. “They wanted to go into the store but they weren’t allowed.”
