More than 2,000 bottles of the finest kosher wine and spirits from France, Israel, and other great wine regions were served up along with 35,000 plates of the finest food from the NY region at the February 5 KFWE in New York at Chelsea Piers. 2,500 guests were welcomed to the unique sight of 5,000 wine glasses stacked up from floor to ceiling. More than 30 restaurants served dishes as unique as Lamb Bacon, Buffalo Meatballs, and spicy Hawaiian poke to Lotus Doughnuts, Bacon-Flavored Brittle, and pulled beef with veal truffle pate. Vodka distilled from beets and tequila from agave were also popular offerings of the night.
