Biden Trouble for Israel

Dear Editor,

Do you really believe that America and Israel can withstand a Biden presidency? If so, please reconsider whether Mr. Biden will be moving to the center if elected. He doesn’t know where he is or what he is saying, but his “handlers” do. Obviously, President Obama did not move to the center despite his rhetoric indicating, “There are no red states or blue states, but only the United States.” He then continued his agenda of stoking racism. If not for President Trump’s actions to reverse course, Israel would be in a great deal of trouble given the egregious Iran Nuclear Deal, the cash payments to fund terrorism, and the tragic vote in the UN that the United States did not veto. There are countless Jews both in Israel and Europe, as well as many Americans, who have died because of the consequences of Obama’s actions.

America is still trying to uncover the “coup” perpetrated against President Trump by the Obama administration, as FBI documents show. While Obama was terrible for both Americans and Israelis, Biden will go further to the left. I don’t think it’s in the best interest of Israel or America to portray a Biden presidency as tolerable or at best benign — even if it appears to your readers as tongue-in-cheek.

Israel Surviving Biden

Dear Editor,

There have been many in the “center” who defend their support for Biden by stating, “Israel will survive.” That is a position they will never make on any other of their pet issues. Can you imagine Democrats being OK with a pro-life or pro-traditional marriage VP or cabinet member, then stating, “Abortion and gay marriage will survive?”

For some reason, Israel “surviving” is a bar they are willing to accept. With that low bar comes the increased antisemitism in Europe and across college campuses, as these extremists are emboldened by an administration that is sympathetic to their cause. Do you not think the EU, J Street, SJP, and Linda Sarsour weren’t encouraged by Obama’s remarks and statements, even if Israel survived his tenure?
