Levi Aron, wearing an orange jumpsuit and a full beard, entered a guilty plea earlier today as part of a deal that would result in a sentence of 40 years to life in prison.

The 36-year-old “Butcher of Brooklyn” murderer spoke in a whisper as he confessed the crime and answered questions from the judge at Thursday’s court appearance.

“You gotta speak loud enough so I can hear you,” the judge said.

Aron admitted to kidnapping Kletzky from his neighborhood in Borough Park and giving the boy a toxic mix of prescription and over-the-counter drugs before smothering him with a towel.

Assemblyman Dov Hikind was instrumental in negotiating the plea deal, saying that the Kletzky family agreed to the plea deal so as not to hear the gruesome details of their son’s death in court.

“Leiby was everyone’s child; everyone felt this pain and wanted to help,” Hikind said. “Today, we all remain a little more united.

  1. Don’t get fooled by t he yarmulke he is wearing, it is the oldest trick in the book, its meant to get kosher food in prison, so he can have “some” good food..

He dos not need a yarmulke for any other reason.

  2. that face still makes me mad. I am happy with the plea because the kletzkys are happy, but personally i would have loved to see that animal on a frying pan.

  3. I know the parents didn’t want a trial and i respect it very much. But today’s guilty plea could not have been too much fun either.

This is unfortunately part of the process, i am still crying every time i see of the precious little boy, i can just imagine what the parents are enduring

  4. There is still a lot being covered up in this case. We want to know if he knew the boy before hand? Is it true that he molested other children before Leiby and got away with it? Did any community member whitewash his crimes? Was this preventable? Was he a guest at Leiby’s Grandfather’s shabbas table 3 weeks earlier?

Why not investigate this and let t this murder not be in vane? What are we scared of?

  5. 40 years in Rikers, is the perfect death penalty! as a matter of fact it might be a 4-time death penalty. Hopefully they will get to this monster and chop him up the same way he did the little innocent boy.

  6. At the end of the day, Aron is a Jewish soul that did a terrible thing, but he does not deserve to be called the Devil or names like that.

Every Jew deserved redemption, even a criminal like him.
