JERUSALEM — Major General (res.) Meir Dagan, former chief of the Mossad, joined United Hatzalah’s international board of directors on Sunday afternoon. Dagan will join the illustrious board which already includes Alan Dershowitz, Jay Schottenstein and Director Mark Gerson.
Dagan joined the organization in a ceremony held at United Hatzalah’s headquarters, where he also personally dedicated an ambucycle to United Hatzalah’s fleet of over 300.
“It was a great pleasure and honor for me to join this organization, and to meet people who are willing to save lives, no matter the gender, color, or religion.”, said Dagan. “I believe the cause is right. It is a just and worthy cause… I believe you are fulfilling the mission in a very profound way.”
