Assemblywoman Melissa Miller and the Nassau County Bridge Authority (NCBA) will host another town hall meeting November 8, 7:00—8:30 p.m., to discuss the Atlantic Beach Bridge project as well as fare schedules and finances, E-ZPass, capital plans, and facts and fiction about the NCBA, followed by a question-and-answer session. The meeting will be held at Peninsula Public Library, 280 Central Avenue in Lawrence.

In addition, in conjunction with the NYS Department of Financial Services—Student Protection Unit, she will host a free student-loan workshop November 16, 7:00—8:30 p.m. at the Oceanside Library, 30 Davison Avenue. The event is open to all students and their parents or guardians to learn about a variety of financial services, including student-loan forgiveness, loan-repayment options, financing your education, deferment and forbearance, and how to avoid loan default.
