MVP Zoom 5-3-1 6th grade boys

MVP celebrated Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend with 2 exciting Zoom events. Throughout both events, the players, representing yeshiva day schools from grades 6 through high school, competed in the 5-3-1 Challenge while they also interacted on Zoom with their friends from other schools.

Sunday featured boy basketball players shooting hoops in their backyards and driveway baskets in Scarsdale; Woodmere; Great Neck; Allenhurst; Long Eddy, New York; Uniondale, Pennsylvania; Brooklyn; Highland Park; and Toms River. Congratulations to all the boy players who participated. Special shout-outs:

6th grade

  • Champion: Nate Meyer, HAFTR
  • Second place: Noah Hiltzik, Ramaz
  • Third place: Gavriel Pelcowitz, YHT and Charlie Sasson, NSHA

7th/8th grades

  • Champion: Leyad Terrin, HILLEL

  • Third place: Ben Rabe, HALB

Monday featured girl players shooting hoops in their backyards and driveway baskets in New Hempstead; Teaneck; Oakhurst; Englewood; Great Neck; Riverdale; Bergenfield; Long Eddy, New York; New Rochelle; New Milford; Berkley Heights; and Deal. Congratulations to all the girl players who participated. Special Shout Outs:
