Shalom Singles (40+) of Congregation Beth Sholom of Lawrence announces a unique discussion group, as part of its Roundtable series, on Tuesday, November 24:
The “C” Word: children. Children of divorced and widowed parents, both young and mature; relationships with your children during and after the divorce or grieving process; stepchildren and potential stepchildren; when to meet them, how to form relationships with them, and working towards developing a blended family. The session will be moderated by Mark Krauss, PsyD., a noted local psychologist.
This roundtable will be of interest to adult singles with children of all ages, to singles developing relationships with potential mates with children, and to families who are already blended.
The roundtable will take place at Congregation Beth Sholom of Lawrence, 390 Broadway (Washington Avenue entrance) in Lawrence. The event will be preceded by tea and coffee at 7:45 p.m. The discussion group will begin precisely at 8:00 and will be followed by a dessert reception.
Shalom Singles Roundtables are conducted semimonthly on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. All are welcome and admission is free. To be placed on the Shalom singles mail list, please contact jekow77@gmail.com. ♦
