Every year around now, fashion brands open their doors and invite the public to join their sample sales. It is a ritual nearly as old as the Garment District in NYC.

This year, a new brand is taking a different approach. Brody Paws, Inc. is shipping hundreds of new fashion-sample gloves, hats, scarves, and hoodies to Israel to be distributed among “lone soldiers” for the winter.

Brody Paws has begun a Kickstarter campaign to make winter accessories with vibrant original graphics. With a patent-pending technology, they create original colorful graphics and fuse them to warm, cozy winter material. This is a game-changer; it’s fashion disruption for those who take a stand and demand to be colorful. They are also a cool and socially conscious brand that will donate a portion of every sale to the development of a service or therapy animal, and they express their passion for animals by incorporating animal paw prints into every one of their original and vibrant artwork designs.

Donating the samples to lone soldiers in Israel makes perfect sense to cofounders Steven and Dan Brody. Raising their families in northern New Jersey and the Five Towns, respectively, the Brody brothers have always instilled a love for EretzYisrael in their children through frequent visits and charitable efforts. The synergy is perfect in that the Brody Paws brand is so closely linked to charitable efforts here in the States. (Brody Paws has teamed up with several charities, including K9s for Warriors, to support training service animals for returning U.S. veterans.)

Brody Paws reached out to the Israel Forever organization and the Lone Soldier Project to ensure that their warm and cozy accessories reach those soldiers who can most appreciate them.
