(JTA) – Two Penn State students confessed to painting anti-Semitic slogans and swastikas on and around a mostly Jewish fraternity on the university’s campus.
The students, 19-year-old sophomores Eric Hyland and Hayden Grom, were charged Monday with ethnic intimidation, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct in the Nov. 8 incident, in which they spray painted  swastikas  and anti-Semitic words and images on the Beta Sigma Beta fraternity building, on cars parked outside the fraternity and on a dumpster, CBS Pittsburgh reported.
Police said the students admitted last week to the vandalism.
They also face a disciplinary hearing at the university. A university spokeswoman told CBS that the university takes the allegations seriously.
Security cameras captured images of the vandals.
