Protests To Commence At Center For Jewish History —

Demand To Fire CEO Who Supports Boycott Of Israel

JCCWatch.Org, & Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI) will hold the first of a series of protests on Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30 PM outside of the Center for Jewish History, located at 15 W 16th St in Manhattan. The protests will demand that. David N. Myers, the organization’s incoming CEO be fired for his support of a boycott of Israel.

“There is no room in Jewish leadership for anyone who supports a boycott of Israel. We plan a series of protests, along with an advertising campaign to demand the public firing of Mr. Myers as President and CEO of The Center for Jewish History.  Anyone who sits in a position of leadership for the New Israel Fund, J Street, and If Not Now, When is not a fit candidate for any position of Jewish leadership,” said Richard Allen, Founder of JCCWatch.Org.   “We don’t dispute Dr. Myers’ academic credentials, but the Jewish community will not remain silent with Jewish leaders who harm Israel. We will also actively speak to donors of this institution and demand they stop supporting this organization.”

JCCWatch.Org & Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI) are currently enlisting communal support and expect a large number of organizations and Rabbis to call for Dr. Myers’ removal as President and CEO of The Center for Jewish History.
