Assemblywoman Missy Miller will be holding a free screening program for prostate cancer (PSA testing) at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library, 1125 Broadway in Hewlett, on Tuesday, September 12, 3:30—5:30 p.m. This free program is open to all men age 40 and older who have not been previously diagnosed with prostate cancer. Assemblywoman Miller is bringing this free program to the Five Towns area by partnering with South Nassau Communities Hospital. Men who would like to participate in this program should call South Nassau Communities Hospital to schedule an appointment.
No insurance needed. Screenings consist of a PSA blood test. Participants must bring a photo ID containing an address (such as a driver’s license).
