Rav Yechiel Abuchatzeira, shlita, is coming in from Eretz Yisrael for a series of inspirational evenings. Yad L’Achim is once again hosting this inspiring event on six successive nights, beginning Wednesday, November 7. Rav Abuchatzeira, scion of the famous Abuchatzeira family whose blessings are sought by Jews around the world, will speak at the events and be available for advice and individual blessings for personal issues.

He will be followed by Rabbi Daniel Asor, a former missionary who works with Yad L’Achim rescuing Jewish girls from Arab villages. Rabbi Asor will share the dramatic story of a Jewish man who had converted to Islam to marry a wealthy Arab woman descended from the Saudi royal family and how he was rescued at the last minute to return to his people.

Rabbi Asor is the author of The Gates of Rome, which refutes all of the Christian arguments used to convert Jews and which has resulted in many missionaries returning to Judaism. While he has inspired audiences of all ages throughout Eretz Yisrael, this is his first appearance in the United States.

Yad L’Achim, established over 60 years ago by Rav Lifschitz, zt’l, fights on behalf of the Jewish people to bring back those who have fallen into the worst possible spiritual straits. These include Jews who have been lured by missionaries into cults and, a recent plague in Israel, Jewish women who have married Arabs and find themselves trapped with their children in Arab villages. The victims of missionaries and of Arab men are often individuals in great distress, who are willing to follow anyone who offers the semblance of acceptance and security, without considering the dangers involved.

Yad L’Achim runs a 24-hour hotline for Jewish women in Arab villages and their families, which responds immediately to the over 1,400 calls it receives annually. Come to the events in your neighborhood and be inspired.

The unforgettable programs will take place in Wednesday, November 7 in Queens at Yeshiva Ohel Simcha 141-41 72nd Avenue, Flushing, NY, 11367; Thursday, November 8 on Staten Island at the Young Israel of Staten Island, 835 Forest Hill Road, 10314; Sunday, November 11, at Congregation Har HaLebanon, 820 Avenue S, Brooklyn, NY, 11223; Monday, November 12, at Ateres Charna, 790 North Main Street, New Square, NY 10977; Tuesday, November 13, at Sasson V’Simcha, 1223 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11230; Wednesday, November 14, at Congregation Shaaray Tefila, 25 Central Avenue, Lawrence, NY 11559.

The evenings are geared for both men and women. Doors will open 7:30 p.m. and the program is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. sharp.
