American border patrol police is clear, as they “consider rock-throwing to be deadly force which sometimes demands the same in response.” In the last two years, eight people have been killed for throwing rocks on the America-Mexico border — and it is normal.  Police when attacked with deadly attacks respond strongly.

Rightfully, the Israeli cabinet this week approved an amendment to the criminal law on Sunday that, if passed by the Knesset, would increase the maximum penalty for people who throw rocks at vehicles to 20 years in prison. Anywhere in the world when people attack with deadly weapons, they face harsh prison sentences — and authorities shoot them to prevent injury to innocent people.

Day after day, stoning occurs in Israel, and the Palestinian Arabs are described by the media as “non-violent protestors.” Yet, these are indeed very violent attacks, and stone throwers are violent terrorists. As Israeli Cabinet member Naftali Bennett said, “Rocks kill… Some people take rock throwing lightly, and prevent action against them. Rock throwers are trying to murder and they need to be treated accordingly.”

Stones are dangerous — even those thrown at Jews in Israel.
