A prominent Brooklyn rabbi is searching for a valuable menorah stolen from his home Tuesday, and hopes the crystal-clear home security footage he has of the thief may help him locate it.

The burglar entered the rabbi’s home at 999 East 5th St. at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, going through the back door and stealing various religious articles, including an antique Menorah, according to police. He then ran away on foot.

The homeowner was Yehezkel Zion, a rabbi at Congregation Beth Torah. A family friend said Zion was offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

The Menorah was worth about $10,000, the family friend said.

The burglar was wearing a Yarmulke, white shirt, black slacks and black dress shoes.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
