After an extensive search, the Marion & Aaron Gural JCC is proud to announce the appointment of Aaron Rosenfeld as its new Chief Executive Officer. Rosenfeld comes to the Gural JCC with over 17 years of executive leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector. Most recently, Rosenfeld served as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Samuel Field Y in Little Neck and the Central Queens Y in Forest Hills. He played an integral role in the growth and success of those agencies and helped to lead them through a significant merger. He was previously the executive director of the JCCs in Deal, New Jersey and Omaha, Nebraska.
“The Gural JCC has incredibly talented and professional staff doing great work to serve those most in need in the greater Five Towns and beyond,” said Rosenfeld. “I am thrilled to join such an amazing organization that lives the values of Chesed (kindness) and Tzedakah (charity) every day,” he continued. Craig Spatz, Chairman of the Board at Gural, headed the search committee along with Gural JCC president, Steven Bernstein. “We are looking forward to Aaron’s leadership to take the Gural JCC to even greater heights of success,” Spatz and Bernstein stated.
