You have to put them down, and Hamas’ depravity exceeds the imagination of science fiction writers.
In Robert Sheckley’s The Victim from Space, an Earthman lands on a planet whose inhabitants’ greatest ambition is to die violently—the more violently, the better. Suicide is, however, forbidden because violent death has to be earned through service to the society. This suggests that Sheckley’s alien society is, in fact, more civilized than what infests Gaza today.
