As part of the “Season of Growth” Chinese auction to benefit the Levi Yitzchak Family Center & Library, a full-day program is planned for Wednesday, July 16, to complement the viewing of auction prizes.

Kick-start your day as Tzippy Cohen-Perlstein of the Artisan Crunch demonstrates how to make your own superfood shake. Later you will have the opportunity to get inSPIRALized with Chanie Apfelbaum of the famous food blog Chanie will teach you how to jazz up your fruit and vegetable intake and presentation in a cinch.

Need to cool off from the summer heat? Make sure to stop by in the afternoon to learn from Chaia Frishman of Fruit Platters & More how to snack healthy with fresh fruit sorbet and homemade fruit leather.

Day program couvert: $25 per person, includes $20 auction tickets.

In the evening, a soiree with wine, cheese, sweet and savory crepes, and desserts will surely satisfy your palate as you browse the amazing auction prizes and hear from Rabbi Mendel Zirkind, who will explain how Judaism goes hand-in-hand with astrology through an interactive, on-the-spot quick read based on some attendees’ birthdays.

Rabbi Zirkind, a renowned astrological reader, will enlighten listeners with the true powers of “astrology” and the impact it has on our personalities, relationships, daily lives, and overall success. All information and theories are based solely on Torah and Jewish sources. Rabbi Zirkind has more than 14 years of astrological research and consulting experience. He grew up in Jerusalem and received his rabbinical ordination in Melbourne, Australia. Rabbi Zirkind is also a cantor and a shochet.

Rabbi Zirkind’s enlightening presentation will be followed by the raffle drawing with the renowned “King of Comedy” Dr. Stuart Rappaport, who will let you know whether it is truly your lucky night!
