Unique Summer Camp Program Takes Place in Israel and Empowers Young People to Become Confident and Effective Leaders while Strengthening Jewish Identity and Community.
Camp Kimama, the internationally renowned summer camp organization, announced the official launch of its Ambassador Program for American Jewish teens, following a successful pilot program last summer. The program is designed to provide a unique summer camp experience in Israel that empowers young people to become confident and effective leaders, while strengthening their Jewish identity and community.
The Kimama Ambassador Program is a three-week summer camp program specifically tailored for Jewish teenagers aged 15-17, and offers a values-based curriculum that fosters leadership, personal development, and community involvement. The program includes a range of educational activities, including workshops, seminars, and hands-on experiences that explore different aspects of Jewish culture and history, while also developing practical skills such as public speaking, conflict resolution, and team building.
Alon Parnas, Deputy CEO of Kimama, stated: “At Kimama, we believe that values-based education is the foundation for building strong, resilient, and compassionate leaders. Our Ambassador Program is designed to offer a unique summer camp experience that goes beyond traditional fun and games. Our program aims to instill a deep appreciation for Jewish culture and history, foster personal growth, and promote leadership skills that are critical to success in any field.”
“Participants will learn practical skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication, while also strengthening their connection to their Jewish identity and heritage. We believe that this holistic approach to education will empower our participants to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer such a transformative experience to Jewish teens in the US.” Parnas added
