What are we to think when the U.S. places bounties and financial rewards on the heads of notorious terrorists—yet does absolutely nothing to take them out for four decades?

During the past summer, the Israeli military managed to kill Hezbollah terrorist Fuad Shukr who for over forty years was one of the group’s senior military leaders and an advisor to its chief, Hassan Nasrallah. Amongst other nefarious activities, Shukr played a central role in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombings in which 241 Marines were killed. There was a $5 million reward for his capture or murder sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Rewards for Justice (RFJ) Program, but for four decades, the U.S. did absolutely nothing to ensure the families of those Marines received justice.

Here in the U.S., we are in the midst of a heated and highly competitive race for president, a race that can redefine the direction America takes over the next four years if not longer.

As I pointed out last week, while Jews try to live quiet, peaceful lives and Israel genuinely wants to live in peace in a highly volatile neighborhood, we just can’t seem to stay out of the center of world attention no matter how much of an effort we make.

But, as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have insisted all along, Israel has the right to defend herself. Today, the Biden thought process for all intents and purposes is completely irrelevant. For her part, as we have seen, Kamala Harris has no real or genuine policy and the Democratic Party’s objective is to maneuver her into a position to serve as an instrument of the party in a role that used to be referred to as “president.”

So, who will run the future Democratic Party? We do not have to guess because that’s the situation we are currently dealing with. Biden is completely uninvolved in current policy and when asked a pointed question about Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, or the Houthis in Yemen, he just says he would like there to be a ceasefire. That’s a nonsensical thing to say because the situation in these areas have already exploded and are beyond the silly Blinken-Biden-Harris notion of “ceasefire.”

The popular opinion today is that the White House is being run by a consortium of officials with input from Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and a few other lesser-known operatives. They instruct Harris on what to say and she just repeats it without any real thought process involved. That seems to be the deal with her. The words and phrases are nuanced and full of deception and are artfully crafted in Obama-style doublespeak.

For example, as Harris said in an interview with Dana Bash: “My values have not changed.” She continued by saying she’s for fracking, closing the border, and reducing inflation, which are positions that can get her elected. But it is clear that she will never agree to do any of those things that she claims she believes in. And you know why? Because, as she stated, her values have not changed.

So, let’s take a closer look. She would be for fracking and drilling for oil on U.S. soil, except that her values have not changed—so forget about fracking. If only her values had changed, but oops, they haven’t. I can just hear Barack telling her: “Just say that your values have not changed, so that if you’re successful and you do not end up implementing any of those policies that you claimed to have supported, you can remind them that your values have not changed.”

Of course, they are hoping the American people are collectively too stupid to catch all these deceptions. And here’s another duplicitous pronouncement that’s very relevant in these final days of what has been an extremely volatile campaign, and that is when she was asked if Israel has “the right to defend herself.” Let’s look at it this way. Is the dropping of 80 tons of “bunker-busting” bombs on top of the executive offices of Hezbollah in Beirut considered a defensive or an offensive move, in which case the U.S. cannot appear to support it due to their relationships with terror leaders and their promise to protect them no matter where they hide, be it Beirut, Rafah, or Tehran?

According to news reports, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was fuming mad at Israel Defense Minister Yoav Gallant because he was only advised of the plan to kill Nasrallah in Beirut as it was taking place. Clearly, Austin could not be trusted with such a highly confidential plan since he would have to relay it to Biden, who would quickly tell Harris, who would communicate it to Obama, who would relay it to the Ayatollahs.

As far as the technical differences between offensive and defensive weapons, just take a look at what is going on in the war between Russia and Ukraine with the U.S. already allocating over $300 billion to the war effort on the Ukrainian side.

The U.S. is training F-14 fighter pilots, but they are slow-walking the training, which is extensive, and they are not in a rush to possibly provoke Putin to use his nuclear weapons which could be the true start to World War III.

In the meantime, more than two years later, the U.S. is transferring very potent and lethal weapons to Ukraine, but has not authorized their use. The result is that arms dealers and those authorizing the sales of the weapons are making a fortune, but Ukraine is losing the war and what they consider vital territory.

On Sunday, Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell wrote a letter to President Biden informing him that they are aware that his administration is taking their time in shipping essential weapons to help Israel maintain the upper hand militarily.

The much-needed weapons that paid a vital role in the elimination of Hezbollah leaders include Mark 84 bombs, Apache combat helicopters, and Caterpillar D9 tractors. The suspicion is that, like in Ukraine, the Harris-Biden-Obama philosophy is to keep these wars going indefinitely, and to make sure that in either instance, no side scores a decisive victory. This is clear corruption that dominates the military industrial complex today.

When Kamala Harris says that Israel has the “right to defend itself” yet pushes for a ceasefire, we have to be very circumspect about casting a vote for a person with that type of character. I have to say that of all the people I come into contact with on a regular basis, I know of at most one or two who will be voting for Harris.

But to reiterate, it is not necessarily Harris who is in the hot seat in matters of foreign policy. It is the setup in the Executive Office that has her taking direction from Obama, Anthony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, and Jews like Doug Emhoff and Chuck Schumer, who provide the non-rabbinical supervision instructing them how to deal with right-wing Jews like Bibi Netanyahu and what they feel they can get away with without sacrificing the majority of Jews who for some crazy reason are going to vote for them anyway.

Now, if Israel can just figure out how to deal with those offensive weapons and use them for defensive purposes only. I’d like to think that if you manage to keep your country whole and your people alive, you’re doing a fairly good job of defense. n
